New China

I wanna start collecting new china and I am definitly leaning towards classic blue and white. I would love to find some old china to buy cheap but as I am also looking for it to be useable ie it should be dishwasher and microwave proof.

There are a few options out there, there is this one

Johnson Brothers
Johnson Brothers Asiatic Pheasant Blue Johnson Brothers Asiatic Pheasant Blue
which is both microwave and dishwashersafe. Of course they have stoped making it, but I guess I can get it somewhere like ebay but the shipping would be crazy expensive since china is kind of heavy and delicate.

Another option would be the one below, which is from Old Gustavsberg and of course its not made anymore either. Its a really nice china though (yes very similar to the one above but made closer to home, at least closer to my new home once we move, so it will be easier to get a hold of and shipping wont be as bad) and it comes in a variaty of colors such as blue, red, brown, and purple. I would love either blue or red. I guess I can collect it through internet sites such as tradera. Would love to have it so that might be a go.

My absolut favorite is this one

Blue Fluted half lace from Royal Copenhagen. I love the expensive clean look in both pattern and color. I would really love to have it but it is very expensive and I dont like for things to be too expensive cause then I just get too nervous to use it daily. There are sometimes nice deals to be made in onlinestores and auctions but this china is VERY popular so one has to be on the constant lookout.

Ok just as I was looking for a picture to post in this blog I found a, for me, new actionwebsite where I can get it seemingly cheap so I will do that as soon as I move to our new house (which we of course have yet to buy, holding both thumbs for next weeks househuntingtrip) looking forward to it. Checked it and its both dishwasher and microsafe so its a go.
