Future projects

Since its only been approximately a year and a half since we move into this house there are still loads of projects that still needs to be doing to get to where we want it to be. Maybe a list would be good so that I can check it of after they get completed, or maybe I should write after they hopefully get completed.

We have done a lot already but I won't bring those projects up here. Right now we are redoing our roof which is a big project especially cost wise and it is almost completed. Our workers have promised that there will be no more then two weeks left so that we can celebrate midsummer without have the house and front garden looking like a construction site.

Upcoming projects:

• The next big project is building a mudroom which will connect our garage to the main building (I need a permission for this so it might be a while before it gets done.)
• Renovate the garage and make it functional and add an electrical carport.
• Build a garden shed that matches the house so that we can get all the gardening tools and such out of the garage and hopefully be able to put a car in there.
• Change the furniture in our main bathroom which is right has some ugly wooden furniture. I need to paint one piece and completely replace the vanity unit, mirror and lighting over the mirror.
• Paint the outside of the house, right now our house is a light yellow with white details and a red roof with dark red tin details and we could like to repaint the yellow with a warm light grey.
• Change the main door, today the door is white and I don't really like to design. I would love to have a nice double door but that won't work but a new darker grey door would look great.
• Today we have a small patio of bad quality so we want to get rid of the old patio and build a new elevated and bigger one that wraps around the back of the house. We also want to make it levelled with the house so that it becomes more of an extension of our indoor living space.
• Renovate the guest bathroom in the basement where also our guest room is, right now it is just a shower and sink in our laundry room but we want to make it into a proper bathroom. 
• Renovate the laundry room.
• Put up the downstairs curtains. I picked them up from the seamstress last week so we are almost there.
• Redesign some of the backgarden so that it becomes both beautiful and functional. We have mainly been working on demolishing the garden so far now its time to plant and build up.
• The flowerbeds that I made last year on the front of the house didn't turn out that great so they have to go. I want to keep my hortensias on both sides of the staircase and replant all the other flowers, put gravel all the way to the house and decorate the area with a nice bench and some potted plants instead.

This list is making me tired just by reading it and Im sure there are loads of big and small projects that I have forgotten right now as this list is already overwhelming.
